Recruitment Process

Penn Student Agencies has rolling recruitment periods:

Fall Semester Start

PSA recruits for open positions vacated by graduating seniors starting in July. The main on-campus recruiting period typically takes place in late August during NSO and Move-In. We encourage those interested to follow our social media pages for updates.

Candidates who go through this recruiting period typically will start working for PSA in September. PSA typically offers between 30 to 50 positions for our Fall New Hire Cohort.

Phase 1: Primary Consideration – All Roles Open for Considerations

Applications Open: July 10th, 2023

Applications Close: August 13th, 2023 @ 11:59pm

Interviews Begin: Week of August 14th, 2023

Mandatory Onboarding Sessions: Week of August 28th and September 4th

Phase 2: Secondary Consideration – Only Teams with Remaining VacanciesĀ 

Applications Open: August 21st, 2023

Applications Close: August 28th, 2023 @ 11:59pm

Interviews Begin: Week of August 28th, 2023

Mandatory Onboarding Sessions: September 2023

Spring Semester StartĀ 

PSA recruits for newly open or anticipated soon-to-open positions in November and March. The main on-campus recruiting period typically takes place in late in the weeks leading up to Spring Break.

Candidates who go through this recruiting period typically will start working for PSA in late January or late March. PSA typically offers up to 15 positions for our Spring New Hire Cohorts.

Recruitment Events

We hold Recruitment Receptions about our organization, its businesses, and its community; usually lasting around an hour. These receptions allow you to meet current members of the student Board of Directors and the PSA Talent Acquisition Team.

Depending on our hiring timeline for the academic year, some recruitment receptions are followed by PSA Interview Prep Sessions.
