Meet Our Photographers
Casey Lin
Specializations: headshots, event, graduation photos
Casey is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Economics and Fine Arts, with a minor in Design. She is a photographer at the Record and also designs for the Netter Center right now.
Beyond campus, Casey is interested in developing animation and motion-design work that combines creative storytelling with clear, user-focused strategy.
Alexa Halim
Specializations: portraits, editorial/dance, headshots, landscape
Alexa is a first-year Masters in City Planning student at the Weitzman School of Design where she concentrates in Urban Design. She is also involved in the Student Planning Association and interns at the Penn Institute for Urban Research. Outside of the classroom, Alexa is a classically trained dancer and enjoys cooking and trying local restaurants.
At the Record, Alexa is excited to serve the Penn Community and help capture important and memorable moments.
Koseli Thakali
Specializations: concerts, sporting events, social events and candids
Koseli is a first-year student in the College with interests across Economics, Cinema and Media Studies, and AI.
When she's not taking beautiful pictures for The Record, she's getting involved with Penn Electric Racing, Undergraduate Women in AI, or exploring Philly and vlogging.
Jin Han
Specializations: headshots and landscape
Jin is a freshman majoring in Neuroscience. She's involved in VAW Global UPenn and KESEM. At The Record, she plays the role as a photographer.
Originally born in Korea but now living in Atlanta GA she loves going on runs, binging new tv shows, and playing pickleball. Jin looks forward to capturing the special moments happening on campus!
Jialin Wei
Specializations: candids and landscape
Jialin is a freshman majoring in International Studies and Business through the Huntsman Program. Currently, she is the Financial Chair of PASS. She enjoys reading Substack articles, painting and sketching sceneries on the go, and playing badminton after a long day.
At The Record, Jialin is a photographer and especially enjoys capturing candids of events around Penn campus.
Noah Jeong
Specializations: sports, concerts, fashion portraits
Noah is a first-year student from LA deciding between Communications and Cinema & Media Studies. He brings years of experience in graphic design and sports/concert photography. At The Record, he works as a photographer, capturing student life and campus moments.
